Using a Crystal Pendulum

If you have not used a dowsing pendulum before it is worth spending a few minutes getting used to its responses.

To begin with make sure you are calm and relaxed and you are not situated near any electrical appliances such as a television or microwave.

Suspend your pendulum using your thumb, ensuring that your arm feels comfortable and relaxed. Then ask yourself a question you know has a definite YES answer. Note which way the pendulum swings, this will be your positive response. Don't worry if the response isn't instant, it can take a moment or two to get going. This will improve the more you use your pendulum. Repeat the above with a question that has a definite NO to determine your negative response. Generally a clockwise motion indicates a positive response and an anticlockwise motion indicates a negative response, but this doesn't necessarily have to be the case.

Now you have established your Yes / No responses you can start to use your pendulum. When asking questions always ensure that your questions have definite yes no answers.

You can also use your pendulum for decision-making. Draw a box then divide it up creating a grid with one box for each or your options. Write down a different option in each box. Then move the pendulum over each option, pausing for a moment to allow that option to form in your mind and note the response from the pendulum.

To use your pendulum for healing you should first draw a rough outline of a body. This can be for yourself or for somebody else. Move the pendulum slowly over the image asking the pendulum where any inflicted areas might be. You may feel a pull on the pendulum or you may get a yes response over an area that requires healing.

Once you have determined healing is needed you can use your pendulum to choose which crystal would be most suitable. Hold the pendulum as described over each of your crystals. You should get a yes response for each suitable crystal.
