The Seven Main Chakras

	Crown Chakra

The seven Chakra or wheels are energy centres in the body. Starting at the base of the spine and moving upwards towards the crown of the head. It is believed that each Chakra rotates, releasing energy, bringing about well being to the mind and body. The stresses and anxieties of modern living can clog the Chakras, which can have an adverse effect, preventing or interrupting these life forces.

Breathing techniques taught in yoga make all the chakra rotate activating the energy centres. Also certain gemstones can be used to re - energise the Chakras.

You can either place the allocated stone on each chakra point for about fifteen minutes or rotate the allocated stone over a particular chakra point. Rotate the stone in an anticlockwise direction to unblock, cleanse or calm. To re-energise the chakra rotate in a clockwise direction.
